Modal is a modern fibre produced from wood cellulose (most commonly from beech). It is very soft, breathable, absorbs moisture well and is
more durable than standard cotton.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre made from plastic. It is very durable, crease-resistant and dries quickly, but is less breathable than natural fabrics.
Elastane is the European name for spandex. It gives fabrics great elasticity, ensuring that clothes fit the body well and do not restrict movement.
